Meet Amber Romano, 2012 Scholarship Recipient
Amber Romano is a classical ballet dancer from Johnston, RI who is currently home schooled and in the 12th grade. She will be using her scholarship to attend the Brookline Ballet School Youth Ballet Program, Level 7 this summer. Please join us in congratulating Amber and wishing her the best this summer and in the future as she builds her dance career.
What are your aspirations in your art form and/or career aspirations?
My whole life I have dreamed of having a job performing with a professional ballet company. My desire is to have the opportunity to connect with audiences and captivate them through the art of dance.
What do you do for fun? Do you have any interesting or unusual hobbies?
If I were not a dancer, I would love to be a professional makeup artist. I also enjoy running, taking road trips, and watching old movies.
What is something unique about you that you would like people to know?
The most important aspect of my life is being a Christian. It is the reason why I dance, and it is my greatest joy to commit all I do to the Lord.
