Mary Kathryn Brown was accepted into UNCSA’s BFA Drama Program
Mary Kathryn was awarded the AQF scholarship in 2020, which provided her with the opportunity to partake in the UNCSA Drama Summer Intensive. This pivotal experience ignited her passion, leading her to enroll in UNCSA's esteemed High School Drama Program for the 2021-2022 academic year, where she distinguished herself as one of only twenty selected for the prestigious ensemble.
Upon completing her high school education, Mary Kathryn's dedication and talent secured her acceptance into UNCSA's esteemed BFA Drama Program. Currently immersed in her second year of rigorous training, she continues to hone her craft and expand her artistic horizons.
Last summer, Mary Kathryn further enriched her understanding of the theatrical landscape as a SECU Public Fellows Intern at Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Here, she immersed herself in every facet of the organization, shadowing the education department and gaining invaluable insights by rotating through various administrative roles. This immersive experience not only deepened her understanding of arts administration but also inspired her to explore new pathways within the field.
